To enter, individuals must be eligible for the appropriate age group and pupils’ schools must be affiliated to the Kent Schools T.T.A. for 2018-2019 and pay the annual fee (see attached form) £15 per secondary school and £10 per primary school. Cheques to be made payable to, ‘K.S.T.T.A’.Schools may then enter as many individuals as they wish in this individual tournament, plus the team tournament, during the 2018-2019 academicyear.Entries received on a ‘first come first served basis’.
In addition, there is a small fee to enter the individual tournament of £6 per player. Cheques should be made payable to ‘K.S.T.T.A.’
The tournament will run in accordance with Table Tennis England regulations and the organisers’ decision will be final.
Games will best of 3/5 legs (depending upon time), eleven up and change service every two points.
Players should bring their own light refreshments, drinks and bats and arrive in their P.E. kit and trainers ready to play. Balls will be provided.
Players may be required to umpire matches, if they lose the previous match. Teachers may also be asked to umpire matches.
The tournament will be played on a round robin basis in order that players participate in as many games as possible. England ranked players may be seeded (separated from the main draw).
All decisions made by the umpires and organisers will be final.
